I went with my friend Karin, and it reminded me that solo travel doesn’t always mean being alone. I love my alone time, but when I meet the right people, it feels like such a blessing to exist on this Earth together.
Now, a quick jungle reality check, I got bitten three times on my calf by a jungle ant, and it caused an allergic reaction. My leg swelled, and my throat started tightening. It was scary, but I told myself that fear would only make things worse, so I stayed calm and trusted I’d be okay. That’s when I heard a clear inner voice say, “Put mud on it and then let go.” I followed it, and within half an hour, the swelling was gone.
Nature has its way of testing us... but also healing us.
