???? Crown Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 22, accompanied her father King Haakon VIII to the opening of Norway's parliament on Friday, October 2, 2026.

???? Queen Mette-Marit was unable to attend because of a health complication, the latest challenge in her recovery from a lung transplant in June.

???? King Haakon adopted the motto “Everything for Norway” when he took the oath on September 1, and Ingrid Alexandra stood beside him that day too.

???? Please send your kind wishes to the Norwegian royal family and Queen Mette-Marit in the comments, and follow for more royal news and updates!
