Artist in Focus Episode 3: Tenzin Melak, contemporary Tibetan artist

Tenzin Melak is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Dharamshala. After completing education from TCV, he enrolled in College of Art, University of Delhi, which according to him ‘opened avenues to understanding arts from a different outlook’. His works, a confluence of Buddhist teaching and cultural experiences, have deep personal touch. We went to his small room/studio in Norbulingka to talk about his art, influences and why Buddhist themes are recurring subjects in many of his works.
