CARNIVAL CANCELS CRUISES TO FEB 2021 NORWEGIAN SELLING 40 MILLION MORE SHARES CRUISE AND TRAVEL NEWS

Cruise lines scramble to cut costs, cancel cruises and raise cash in today's latest cruise and travel news. Carnival Corp is offering over 50 million shares to payoff maturing senior debt while announcing the cancellation of all cruises until Feb 2021. Norwegian Holdings is diluting their shares holders by another 15% by offering 40 million shares to raise $800 million to survive another 150 days. Celebrity Cruises is cancelling all 2021 cruises and reissuing new itineraries, home ports and higher cruise fares as they switch into all inclusive pricing. With vaccines getting closer to reality, the cruise lines might be able to re-start their sailings in the summer of 2021 and have the bulk of their remaining fleets with paying passengers by the start of 2022.
