Could Norway ban AI glasses in public places? Not everywhere—and not yet. On 5 October, Norway’s government said it plans to propose a temporary ban at selected locations while experts develop longer-term rules. The government cites the risk that people could be photographed, filmed or audio-recorded without knowing. Parks, beaches, museums, malls, child-focused locations and privacy-sensitive places are among possibilities—not a final list. No law is in force yet, and the government says it is not proposing a total ban.
