LATEST CRUISE NEWS UPDATES FOR CARNIVAL, PRINCESS, AND NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINES which may lead to possible NEW cruise cancellations - cruise lines not booking cruises longer than 7 days// In this video, we share some unexpected bad news for major cruise lines cruising out of the US in 2021, as well as some good cruise news about the vaccine announcement, which will likely have a positive effect on the cruise industry.

In cruise news that may affect your 2021 cruise, Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruise Line and Holland America have removed cruises longer than 7 days from their cruise booking engine. This means that due to the CDC new Framework for Conditional Sailing, which stated that cruises must be a maximum of 7 days long when they return to sail, cruise lines are stopping the sale of longer cruises while they clarify the order by the CDC. As of now, this does not mean new cruise cancellations, however this could be likely in the circumstance.

In other cruise news, there was positive news about a vaccine and this has had a positive effect on cruise line stocks, and the overall optimism for the cruise industry and travel sector. This looks good for cruises in 2021 for all cruise lines.

In other cruise news, we had an update from Norwegian Cruise Line and their plan for cruises to start up again in 2021. NCL plans to start trial sailings in January 2021, and then passenger sailings after that. The first sailings will likely go to the cruise line's private islands, Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye in Belize. These private cruise destinations are popular and well loved in the Caribbean, which is good news for cruisers.
