Norway is set to aid in the transfer of frozen tax funds to the Palestinian Authority, as confirmed by the Norwegian Foreign Ministry. The Ministry issued a statement emphasizing that the temporary scheme will be instrumental in averting a financial collapse within the Palestinian Authority.

In the preceding month, Israel granted approval for a framework enabling the transfer of Palestinian Authority tax funds to Norway. According to this framework, Norway will hold onto the portion of tax funds designated for Gaza. Release of the funds will be contingent upon authorization from the Finance Minister.
