Norwegian manufacturing company officials tour Butte amid tax break request

On Wednesday night in Butte, leaders of a Norwegian manufacturing company presented to the Council of Commissioners as they eye the Mining City as a U.S. homebase for their operations.

Two top officials with the company Cenate recently flew in from Norway to get a firsthand look at the area and speak with local officials as they seek to find a location for their U.S. manufacturing plant.

Cenate is less than a decade old as a company and specializes in helping create silicon-containing anode materials that improve electric batteries.
