Ronaldo left… and Portugal went PRIME! ????????????

Portugal defeated Norway 2-1 in a dramatic UEFA Nations League clash at the Estádio do Dragão, securing their FOURTH consecutive win and booking their place in the Nations League quarter-finals.

Cristiano Ronaldo was absent after leaving Portugal’s training camp, but Gonçalo Ramos stepped up and scored the winning goal against Erling Haaland’s Norway. João Cancelo also produced a stunning goal to complete Portugal’s comeback after Kristoffer Ajer gave Norway the lead.

Portugal vs Norway was full of drama — Norway scored first through Kristoffer Ajer, Cancelo equalised just two minutes later, and Gonçalo Ramos scored the decisive 79th-minute goal. Portugal then had to survive the final minutes with 10 men after Francisco Conceição was sent off.

Erling Haaland also failed to score and was substituted in the second half, adding another major talking point to the match.

Portugal 2-1 Norway
⚽ Kristoffer Ajer
⚽ João Cancelo
⚽ Gonçalo Ramos

Portugal remain perfect in the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League and are now through to the quarter-finals.

But the biggest question is…

Is Portugal actually MORE dangerous without Cristiano Ronaldo? ????????????

What do you think? Ronaldo or this new Portugal generation? ????
