Ukraine has accused Russia of carrying out attacks using incendiary phosphorus munitions on Snake Island. The bombings took place within 48 hours of Moscow withdrawing its forces from the strategically important island.
The Ukrainian army said that Moscow sent Su-30 fighter jets over Snake island from the Russian-controlled Crimean Peninsula. The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army said two sorties of Russian fighter jets dropped phosphorus bombs on Snake island.
