Moving on to Scandinavia where NATO commenced a military exercise on Monday, aimed at protecting its newly extended Nordic territory, with Finland and Sweden set to participate in a NATO military alliance exercise for the first time
More than 20,000 soldiers from 13 countries are participating in the drills, which will continue until the 15th of March in the northern regions of Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
Sweden's bid to join the organization has been ratified by all NATO members, allowing the country to take part in collective defense in the alliance's regions.
