'The Helena Whitbread Story' was filmed at Shibden Hall, Halifax in November 2022.

Anne Lister biographer Helena Whitbread was interviewed by Angela Clare about her life and work sharing Anne Lister's story.

The film was commissioned by Calderdale Museums Service, which look after Shibden Hall and produced by Limehouse Films.

The film is a sequel to 'The Anne Lister Story', an interview of Helena by Angela about Anne Lister, which was released in 2016.
