Ukraine's forces on the southern Zaporizhzhia front have breached Russian defence lines in Verbove. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offered a heartfelt thanks to Canada for its help in the war against Russia. During his trip to Canada, Zelensky also addressed the Canadian Parliament on September 22. Ukrainian commanders said the use of heavy weapons supplied by the West in Bakhmut is inflicting a significant toll on enemy lines. Meanwhile, Norwegian police have arrested a former commander of the Wagner mercenary group.
