This is part 24 of my road trip series Into the Wild North – Iceland.

Today we ride from Borgarnes on my Royal Enfield Himalayan and his BMW R 1250 GS all the way to the golden circle. A motorcycle camping adventure through some of the best roads and landscapes in Iceland, including road 52, F338, Laugarvatn, Gullfoss Waterfall, Strokkur Geyser and then Hrunalaug Hot Spring before leaving for the south coast, passing by Seljalandsfoss and then embarking on a ferry to reach the puffin lookout on Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar). A mix of motorcycle travel in Iceland, gravel roads, Iceland highlands riding, wild camping, road trip freedom, volcanic landscapes, off-road sections and iconic Iceland highlights, all of it, shared with a friend.
