Will The Earthqukes In West Iceland Lead To A Volcanic Eruption Soon?

4 hours ago 1

We have been witnessing a science debate about the magma accumulation at 20 km. depth in west Iceland or if it's likely to lead to a volcanic eruption within 3 years, perhaps even way sooner since after the magma is a 10km depth, things move fast, and many of the earthquakes are now moving upwards. This will therefore be a location of great interest for the months to come and i will try to find time to do more filming around there when i drive by next time.
