Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick for Manchester City and was then involved in a bizarre incident. Apparently, the Norwegian footballer tried to avoid being interviewed.

Haaland, 23, once again caught the eye at the Etihad Stadium with an impressive performance in Saturday's 5-1 win over Fulham. It was Haaland's fourth Premier League game this season in which he has scored six goals and is on course to break the record of 36 goals this season.

Interestingly, however, at the end of the match, Haaland was merely making his way towards Manchester City's dressing room. As he carried the match ball under his arm, a member of staff signalled him to go in a different direction.

Haaland then joined the correct parts of this staff member and squeezed the men's waist. He then continued to move in the signalled direction. This incident was caught on camera and caused various comments among fans.

On social media, many people claimed that Haaland was forced for a television interview after his match. However, it was not clear what the incident was, and more details about Haaland's strange functioning can be analysed.
