Norwegian tanks arrive in Poland and rush to Ukraine

Tanks from the Norwegian Army’s Telemark Battalion have rolled off a ship into a port in northern Poland as part of Exercise Noble Jump 2019. The exercise tests NATO’s ability to deploy the land component of the NATO Response Force, specifically the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF). Four NATO Allies are involved in the training – Germany, the Netherlands, Norway and host nation Poland. The NATO Response Force, or NRF, is a multinational force made up of land, air, maritime and Special Operations Forces components. Noble Jump 2019 runs from 24 May to 14 June. Footage includes Norwegian Leopard II tanks, CV90 infantry fighting vehicles and M577 armored command vehicles offloading into a port and being loaded onto trains in Szczecin, Poland.
