Russia has denied Ukrainian reports that Moscow’s missiles struck residential areas in Odesa early on July 1. Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, reiterated Russia claim that their “special operation” doesn’t involve targeting civilians. Death toll due to alleged Russia’s missile strikes on Ukraine's southern Odesa region has now risen to 19. Meanwhile, 8 people have died after a Russian missile allegedly struck a residential building in Ukraine’s southern city of Mykolaiv. Moscow has told Ukrainian teachers in occupied territories to switch to teaching the Russian school curriculum. Former Russian spy, Sergey Zhirnov, claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin could use nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko told Russia that he is awaiting nuclear warheads to be stationed on his soil. Ukraine's President, Prime Minister and Parliament’s speaker have signed a declaration of intent to join EU.
